Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Recruits and onboards new hires
  • Manages payroll and employees benefits, including ownership of the annual enrollment process.
  • Oversees corporate performance review process
  • Evaluates new and revised legislation for policies and procedures
  • Updates and communicates Employee Handbook revisions to staff
  • Performs any relevant and related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in or a concentration in Human Resources
  • Understands relevant legislation, personnel operating systems, and organizational structure
  • Strong critical thinking, communications, and implementation skills
  • Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge with computers and technology to complete tasks is a must
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
